We estimated this to be a $5,000 event with all the giftbags and items to put in them. With all the donations of items in our drop-off bins, the actual cash cost of this event was reduced to a little over $2,500.00 - only about $10.00 per person for meal and gifts! shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, lip balm, antibacterial wipes, Q-tips, safety pins, bandaids, shave gel, disposable razor, toothbrush, flossers, toothpaste, mouthwash, washcloth, several ziplock bags, comb, socks, deodorant, emery board, gum, nutri-grain bar, sugar-free / regular candy, 9x12 organizing envelope and a pen.
20 Children – Handle bags with school items, pencil cases, toys, snacks plus most of the same personal care items as adults (age appropriate).

Enough to feed 336 people a full dinner – Mixed nuts & mints, 1/3 lb. slice of BBQ bacon-topped meatloaf, chunky cheese potatoes, baked green bean casserole, fresh fruit salad (watermelon, cantaloupe, green grapes, strawberries), Phil's toffee-chocolate chunk birthday cookie cakes.
